Carlo has spent most of his career managing Italian large corporates. From 2009 to 2017 he was CEO at Equitalia Giustizia, managing credits for a total amount of approx. € 12.3 bln. From 2008 to 2009 he was part of the CEO staff of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, the leading Italian railway company.

From 1998 to 2008 he was CEO at Metropark, which is a specialized operator active in the parking business owned by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana. Prior to joining Metropark, from 1976, Carlo was part of the top management of several Italian companies. Carlo graduated with honours in Economics from “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
